SOLUTIONS FOR SOCIETY
Solutions for Society is the Forum’s annual program focusing on social entrepreneurship, presented in partnership with the D’Appolonia family and Pittsburgh Social Venture Partners. Solutions for Society is dedicated to the memory of David D’Appolonia who always brought intense passion to every endeavor. With his brilliant creativity, he was able to see challenges in new ways and craft innovative solutions. He took a personal interest in the lives and dreams of the people with whom he interacted.
The program presents two awards, the Social Venture Award and the Entrepreneurial Award. The first is granted to a member of Pittsburgh Social Venture Partners who epitomizes the heart, the commitment, and the energy that Dave brought to PSVP and investees.
